Founded in 1991, Sunshine Valley Tourist Resort is an affiliated industrial park of the former Guizhou Alcohol Distillery. It was completed in 2001 and officially opened to the public. Before upgrading, it was awarded the honorary titles of "National AA Tourist Attraction", "National Industrial Demonstration Site", "Civilized Scenic Tourism", and "Ecological Industrial Tourism Demonstration Area".
